Douglas Fir
With an abundance of slow grown Douglas Fir available from our sawmills, this sustainable grown alternative to Oak is a great cost effective timber.
Douglas Fir can be cut to very long straight lengths in most section sizes which can be more desirable in some construction scenarios. With a very high natural oil content Douglas Fir protects itself from the elements without needing any extra treatment for a natural finish.
We can also supply this in either grade 2 or 4 treatment for more extreme construction scenarios.
